Where Has North County Been?

"Recruitment Success"

On October 7th we went to Six Flags, New Jersey as a form of membership recruitment. Everyone had a great time enjoying the fall atmosphere. As a result of this trip, 50 plus members were recruited to join FBLA. Needless to say, it was a success. Because of this trip, North County's FBLA chapter was asked to do a workshop on "Membership Recruitment." We are one of the largest chapters in the state.

"The Big Apple"

On a cold day in December, FBLA members sit down and observe the many sights of New York. Included in the trip was a dinner at Hard Rock Cafe, and a viewing of the Broadway hit, "Rent."

"Fall Leadership Conference at Hagerstown"

Members of the North County FBLA pose for a picture just after the closing ceremonies of the 2000 Fall Leadership Conference in Hagerstown, MD. Students who attended this trip learned valuable information relating to the modern-day business world. They attended numerous workshops that taught the importance of communication, teamwork, and relationships of business and its personnel. After a day at work, students were rewarded with a private dance, hosted by a 92 Q DJ. After a long, exhausting day the students headed back to their rooms and got some well-deserved rest.
